报告人简介:Daekyoung Kang got his Ph.D. at The Ohio State University, Ohio at 2011. From 2011 to 2014, he had worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT. Since 2014, he has worked as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His research interests mainly focus on phenomenology of high energy collider physics by using effective theories of QCD and exploring strongly interacting ultracold atoms with tools of effective theory. Up to now, he finished about 30 publications.
报告摘要:
In this talk, after a brief introduction to my academic history, I will describe my research goal, exploring various phenomena of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) by using the tool called effective effective field theory and show series of my research achievements where application of the tool was successful. At the end, I will discuss my future research and education plan.
