报告人简介:

Dr. Jie Zhao got his PhD degree on particle physics at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese 

Academy of Sciences in 2013. He was a student assistant at Lawrence Berkeley National during 

2009-2012. After that, he became a postdoctoral research fellowship at Central China Normal University

 from 2013 to 2015. Now his is a postdoctoral research fellowship in the High Energy Physics group at 

the Purdue University to work on the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider(RHIC) in 

Brookhaven National Laboratory(BNL). His interesting researches are identified particle elliptic flow of the 

STAR Beam Energy Scan program, di-electron measurements at STAR, and azimuthal charged-particle 

correlation and chiral magnetic effects.
