Dr. Jean-Pierre Gagne, Professor of University of Quebec at Rimouski, Canada. 
Research interests and skills 

Geochemistry of organic contaminants under marine conditions, characterization of contamined 

sediments - chemical aspects, pesticides, sorption/desorption of hydrophobic contaminants,

 sediment-organic matter interactions, organic matter-organism interactions, humic substances,

 silver nanoparticules, chemical sampling (water and sediments) in coastal environment,

 environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry (LC-MS-MS, GC-MS, Excitation-Emission matrix 

fluorometry, nanoparticles analysis (Nanosizer ZS), Raman and Fourier transform infrared

 microspectroscopies, preparative and analytical chromatography, UV-Visible spectroscopy,

 dissolved organic matter analysis and characterization), pesticides analysis, linear and

 aromatic hydrocarbons analysis.
